Shortly after requesting this protection, he vanished from the main farm area, and his body was subsequently recovered from a dam on the property. Chad Thomas publicly stated that he strongly suspected foul play, noting that it was highly irrational for a man to schedule an urgent security consultation only to take his own life shortly after.
