Raymond Fitch and Yvonne Fitch were brutally tortured and beaten to death during the home invasion on their farm. Their son, Jeff, discovered their bodies on the Saturday following the attack at the Two Springs property.Regarding the suspects, there were definitive updates in court following the initial police arrests. In June 2009, High Court Judge Gregory Kruger in Durban convicted and sentenced two relatives, Simon Duma (aged 22) and Bonginkosi Duma (aged 28), for their roles in the crime. Both attackers were sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment for the murders, along with an additional 20 years of imprisonment for robbery with aggravating circumstances.
