Vickers Richard Allan

Richard Vickers was watching rugby with his wife inside their home when he stepped outside into the yard of Tipperary Farm near Rookdale, Bergville, and was ambushed by two armed men. He suffered two fatal bullet wounds during a brief scuffle, after which the attackers stormed the farmhouse, assaulted his wife, and robbed her of cash before fleeing on foot into the veld. Investigators recovered two 9mm bullet casings from the crime scene.
