Scheppel Martha Louise Gertina "Martie"

Martie was known as the former mayor of the town. An armed intruder or group of attackers breached the property and executed a sudden ambush inside the farmhouse homestead. She was targeted directly while inside her kitchen area and shot at close range in an attack that local authorities described as closely resembling a targeted execution. She died instantly on the kitchen floor from her ballistic injuries.
