Crous Johannes Andries Coetzer "Jannie"

Age 62. The nightmare began when the farmstead property was breached by two attackers who targeted the farmer on his land. The perpetrators blindsided Jannie Crous, aggressively cornering him inside the farm environment. Instead of utilizing firearms, the two men drew sharp blades and launched a savage physical assault, stabbing him multiple times. The severity of the deep knife wounds proved catastrophic, and he was stabbed to death at the scene during the confrontation. His name was also listed in Treurgrond (Afr) case 367.
