Van Niekerk Sylvia

Sylvia van Niekerk and her husband, Joe, had sold their residential home to travel the country for his work. They were renting a guest cottage on the Boplaas farm just outside Danielskuil while he worked at a nearby mine.When her husband returned home from work shortly after 17:00, he discovered her body inside the cottage. She had been brutally stabbed to death during a robbery. Following swift investigative work by local police, a 17-year-old suspect was arrested the next afternoon and formally charged.
