Stapelberg Johan

Age 40. Regarding the details of what happened, Johan Stapelberg and his brother Hendrik Johannes Uys received information regarding a planned criminal farm attack in their immediate area. The two men left their residence to investigate the security threat and monitor the property boundaries. While checking the area, they were ambushed by a group of armed men and shot dead. a rapid mobilization by local police and community members led to the tracking and arrest of four suspects within a week of the murders. The arrested men were identified as Goodman Zimizele Sinapaula, Khaya Jada, Goodman Sahluko, and Xolisa Alfred Danisa. All four suspects were tracked to the Kanana area outside Rustenburg and the Phula hostel at Amplats, and they were subsequently processed through the Rustenburg Magistrate's Court.
