Ceronie Gideon Pieter

Age 69. On Monday, October 24, 1994, their vulnerable rural property became the target of a brutal home invasion. A group of perpetrators breached the security of the homestead and launched an incredibly violent, close-quarters ambush against the elderly couple. Both Lena and Giep were ruthlessly overpowered inside their residence, where they were repeatedly stabbed to death by their attackers. The severe trauma and extensive blood loss from the blade wounds proved fatal, and both tragically passed away on their property before emergency medical assistance could be alerted.
