Zemann Karin

Age 40. On Friday, September 30, 2011, forty-year-old Karin Zemann was brutally attacked and murdered on a rural property in the Hekpoort area near Krugersdorp, located within the West Rand district of the Gauteng province. The attack occurred when a group of three assailants breached the property and ambushed her. In a desperate attempt to preserve her life, Karin Zemann tried to escape from the attackers by running out into the open veld surrounding the homestead. The perpetrators pursued her into the field, where they shot her at close range.Her body was discovered directly in the open veld by responding parties and investigators. Forensic examinations revealed that she died from a single, execution-style gunshot wound located just above her left eye. The attackers plundered the property before fleeing the scene.
