Parau Vincent Sardinha

Age 63. He and his wife, Corrie Parau, were returning home after spending the evening with friends when they were confronted by four men in a vehicle. When Vincent got out of his car, one of the assailants shot him in the face. He died at the scene. His wife was removed from the vehicle at gunpoint, assaulted and taken into the house. The attackers ransacked the home and opened safes, stealing firearms and cash. They suddenly fled, apparently after something disturbed them. Corrie sustained minor injuries. Police investigated the incident as a house robbery and murder. News24 +1 Three men, aged between 25 and 30, were arrested the following month in connection with the murder and housebreaking. They appeared in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court on 3 November 2014 and were denied bail on 25 November.
