Venter Rassie

Age 42. Rassie was farm manager for J.C. Potgieter. Venter was found dead inside his tent on a farm in the Vivo area. The newspaper states that he had been shot at close range in the head. A cartridge was recovered at the scene. Venter had apparently picked up two men who were looking for work alongside the Vivo road shortly before his death. Potgieter's white BMW was subsequently found abandoned approximately 10 km from Venter's tent
