Age 59. Staff members discovered her lifeless body inside her bedroom on a Wednesday morning at approximately 07:30. Forensic teams arriving at the crime scene found that the victim had been brutally assaulted, raped, and stabbed multiple times, with the murder weapon still stuck directly in her neck. Investigators confirmed that the attackers ransacked her living quarters and stole a significant cash sum that Robinson had recently withdrawn to pay the monthly wages of her lodge employees. The primary suspect, a Zimbabwean national named Andrea Imbayarwo who worked at the lodge under the alias Andrew Ndlovu, immediately fled the scene and successfully crossed the Beitbridge Border Post back into Zimbabwe.Following a six-year evasion from justice, police tracking teams acting on public tip-offs successfully cornered and arrested Imbayarwo in Crosby, Johannesburg, on July 30, 2020. In April 2022, the Polokwane High Court convicted Imbayarwo of the brutal attack and sentenced him to two consecutive life imprisonment terms for murder and rape.
