Age 55. During the violent farm invasion, the 55-year-old farmer was targeted and killed inside his residence. The direct cause of his death was a severe open wound to his head inflicted by the perpetrators during the assault. The attackers completely ransacked the farmhouse during the raid. The gruesome scene was discovered around 11:00 AM on Saturday, 9 August 2014, when family members arrived at the property for a scheduled visit and found the victim lying deceased in a pool of blood.
