Ntjingila Meshack "Kaptein"

Age 58. The attack commenced during the evening hours when four armed perpetrators breached the property lines. Meshack Ntjingila's 22-year-old son, Fanie Ntjingila, along with his cousin, were standing outside the house when they were ambushed by the group of four men. The attackers forced both young men into the house at gunpoint and tied them up securely. The robbers spent a significant amount of time systematically ransacking the home and loading the family's electronic goods and valuables into Fanie's personal motor vehicle. While the robbery was finishing, Meshack Ntjingila arrived back at the property after working late and parked his vehicle at the back of the house. The armed perpetrators immediately confronted him outside and shot him dead, inflicting fatal gunshot wounds. The criminals then fled the smallholding in the son's stolen vehicle, leaving the tied-up family members to discover the body.
