Snyman Andries

Age 59. Andries Snyman was asleep inside his bedroom when he was suddenly ambushed and overpowered by three armed suspects. His son, Stephan Snyman, was also present on the property inside his own room when he heard the disturbance coming from inside the home. Upon stepping out of his room to investigate the source of the noise, the son witnessed his father engaged in a physical struggle with the three attackers, who were heavily armed with a pistol and knives. The suspects immediately fled the scene as soon as they realized the son had spotted them. Despite their pleas, Andries Snyman suffered severe stab wounds to his chest during the violent confrontation and tragically succumbed to his injuries on the scene before help could arrive. The attackers managed to steal only a single cellular phone during the rapid home invasion.
