Briers Gert Petrus Jacobus "Piet"

Age 50. As the sun set on that October evening, an unknown number of perpetrators breached the security of his property and positioned themselves in wait. Piet was caught completely off guard when the attackers launched a sudden, cold-blooded ambush against him. During the violent confrontation, one of the assailants opened fire at point-blank range, shooting him directly in the face. The catastrophic gunshot wound proved instantly fatal, and Piet passed away on his property before any emergency medical assistance could be summoned to the scene.
