Age 54. A group of five men launched an attack on the farm property. During the violent confrontation, his 52-year-old wife, Estelle Lauressyn, was assaulted by being struck over the head, and the residence was plundered and ransacked. John Lauressyn was shot and killed by the attackers during the robbery.
