Pistorius Hendrik

Age 53. He was murdered in the early morning hours between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM on 3 August 2022 on his farm in Piket-Bo-Berg, located approximately 30 kilometers outside Piketberg in the Western Cape province. He was a globally recognized producer of protea flowers, particularly the blushing bride variety. Attackers targeted him during a robbery and subjected him to a severe assault, inflicting fatal blunt force trauma to the right side and top of his head. His body was subsequently dragged using a nylon bag and left partially hidden underneath a large bin or crate on the property. The perpetrators ransacked his office and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash stolen from his desk.
