Age 77. During the targeted attack, the perpetrators breached the residence and confronted Kietzman alongside his 79-year-old wife, Olive Kietzman. The assailants brutally assaulted the elderly couple inside their home. Friedrich Wilhelm Kietzman was throttled and strangled to death by the attackers, while his wife Olive was left with severe and critical physical injuries from the violent assault.
