Greeff Jan

Perpetrators executed the tactical attack by breaching the property boundaries and completely overpowering the elderly couple at their residence. Jan Greeff was subjected to physical torture by the intruders before being dragged to a storeroom on the property, where he was killed. His 77-year-old wife, Sannie Greeff, was bound securely by the limbs and throttled to death inside the home. The attackers ransacked the property for valuables before escaping into the surrounding terrain.
