Le Roux Elizabeth Helena "Lizelle"

he was 42 years old at the time of her death and lived on Sunnyside Farm, situated in the rural Molteno district of the Eastern Cape. On the afternoon of Sunday, July 14, 2013, she left the main farmhouse to go for a routine walk alone on the property. When darkness fell and she failed to return home, her family realized she was missing and immediately organized a search party consisting of local farmers and neighborhood watch members.Her body was discovered the following morning, Monday, July 15, 2013, on a remote section of the farm property. The initial medical and forensic assessment on the scene confirmed that she had been stabbed to death. While the search party discovered her body outside, a subsequent inspection of the main homestead revealed that the farmhouse had been broken into, ransacked, and plundered by the attackers.
