Hardy Richard

3 September 1997 · Babanango · KwaZulu-Natal · Shot
My husband, Richard was driving back to Babanango from First National Bank in Melmoth with our staff's wages. This was the last time doing this as Cash Paymaster Services were taking over our staff salary payments. They masqueraded as road workers but they shot Richard with 9mm to the head and an AK47 shot to his body. They stole the wages, almost R56 000. There was a report in the Zululand Observer newspaper.
