Moloi Rakoro David

Age 52. Rakoro David Moloi was a 52-year-old man murdered on a farm in the Ladybrand district of the Free State province on February 27, 2026. The South African Police Service arrested two private security guards, aged 23 and 28, who allegedly assaulted Moloi and his 46-year-old brother after accusing them of stealing maize from the property. Police discovered Moloi's body on the scene with a fatal open wound to his right side, while his younger brother was found severely injured near a nearby river dumping site and transported to a hospital for emergency medical treatment. The two suspects were formally charged with murder and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm before the Ladybrand Magistrate's Court on March 2, 2026.
